The Aadhaar is a 12-digit unique identification number issued by the Indian government to its residents, connecting biometric and demographic data. VERIFY AADHAAR CARD ONLINE PROCESS:

1. Go to the UIDAI website at https://uidai.gov.in/ or https://resident.uidai.gov.in/.

2. Look for the “Aadhaar Services” or “Verify Aadhaar Number” option on the homepage.

3. Click on the “Verify Aadhaar Number” link.

4. Enter the 12-digit Aadhaar number that you want to verify in the provided field.

5. Type in the security code or CAPTCHA displayed on the screen.

6. After entering the required details, click on the “Verify” button to initiate the verification process.

7. The website will display the verification status of the provided Aadhaar number. If the Aadhaar is valid and verified, the website will show a message confirming the authenticity of the Aadhaar number.

VERIFY AADHAAR USING QR CODE M-AADHAAR APP:

1. Go to the Google Play Store (for Android users) or the Apple App Store (for iOS users) and search for “mAadhaar.” Download and install the official mAadhaar app developed by UIDAI.

2. Once the app is installed, open it on your smartphone.

3. Follow the on-screen instructions to set up your mAadhaar profile. You will need to enter your Aadhaar number or scan the QR code on your physical Aadhaar card.

4. After setting up the profile, the app will generate a QR code that represents your Aadhaar details.

5. To verify your Aadhaar using the QR code, provide the QR code from the mAadhaar app to the verifying authority or entity. They can then scan the QR code using a QR code scanner or a compatible app to validate your Aadhaar details and verify your identity.

VERIFY AADHAAR CARD OFFLINE E-KYC:

1. Generate Aadhaar Paperless Offline e-KYC XML: Visit the official UIDAI website: https://uidai.gov.in/. 

2. Under the ‘My Aadhaar’ section, click on ‘Download Aadhaar’ or directly visit https://eaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/

3. Choose the ‘Regular’ option and enter your Aadhaar number, full name, PIN code, and the security code (captcha).

4. Click on ‘Request OTP’ to receive a one-time password on your registered mobile number.

5. Enter the OTP received on your mobile and click on ‘Download Aadhaar’ to download the Aadhaar Paperless Offline e-KYC XML.

6. The service provider or agency who needs to verify your Aadhaar details will ask you to share the XML file. You can provide the downloaded Aadhaar Paperless Offline e-KYC XML file to them.

7. The service provider will use the XML file and follow the offline verification process. They will extract the necessary information from the XML and validate your Aadhaar details without needing an internet connection.

VERIFY AADHAAR USING AADHAAR NUMBER:

1. Visit the official UIDAI website: https://uidai.gov.in/

2. Look for the “Verify Aadhaar Number” option or visit the direct link: https://resident.uidai.gov.in/aadhaarverification 

3. Enter the following details:

• Aadhaar Number: Enter the 12-digit Aadhaar number that you want to verify.
• Security Code: Enter the security code displayed on the page (captcha).

4. Click on the “Verify” button.

5. The website will display the verification status of the provided Aadhaar number. It will show whether the Aadhaar number is valid and the corresponding basic information such as the state and the age group.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR AADHAAR VERIFICATION:

For New Aadhaar Card Enrollment:

1. Proof of Identity (PoI) documents: Passport, PAN card, Voter ID, Driving license, Government-issued photo ID cards, etc.

2. Proof of Address (PoA) documents: Passport, Voter ID, Driving license, Bank statement/passbook, Ration card, Utility bills (electricity, water, telephone, gas, etc.), Rent agreement, etc.

3. Proof of Date of Birth (DoB) documents: Birth certificate, Passport, Matriculation certificate, PAN card, etc.

4. In the case of a child’s enrollment, an Identity proof and Address proof of the parent/guardian is required.

For Aadhaar Card Verification (already enrolled Aadhaar):

1. Aadhaar Number or Aadhaar card.

2. Mobile number registered with Aadhaar (for OTP-based verification).

HOW TO CHECK IF AADHAAR CARD IS STILL ACTIVE / DEACTIVATED:

1. Check Aadhaar Status Online:

• Visit the official UIDAI website: https://uidai.gov.in/
• Under the “My Aadhaar” section, click on “Check Aadhaar Status.”
• Enter your Enrollment ID or Aadhaar Number, along with the security code (captcha).
• Click on the “Check Status” button.

2. Visit Aadhaar Enrollment Center:

• If you suspect that your Aadhaar card might have been deactivated, you can visit the nearest Aadhaar Enrollment Center.
• They will be able to provide you with information about the status of your Aadhaar and guide you on the necessary steps to reactivate it if required.

3. Contact UIDAI Helpline:

VERIFY AADHAAR EMAIL ID / MOBILE NO ONLINE:

1. Visit the official UIDAI website: https://uidai.gov.in/ 

2. Look for the “My Aadhaar” section on the website and find the relevant option for verifying your mobile number or email ID. This option may be labeled differently, such as “Verify Aadhaar Email/Mobile Number.”

3. Provide your Aadhaar number and the security code (captcha) displayed on the screen.

4. If you are verifying your mobile number, an OTP (One-Time Password) will be sent to your registered mobile number. If you are verifying your email ID, the OTP will be sent to your registered email address.

5. Enter the OTP you received in the designated field on the website and proceed to verify your mobile number or email ID.

6. Once you enter the OTP and complete the verification process, you will receive a confirmation message indicating that your mobile number or email ID has been successfully verified.

THINGS TO REMEMBER WHILE VERIFYING AADHAAR CARD ONLINE:

1. Use the official UIDAI website or authorized Aadhaar Enrollment Centers for Aadhaar-related tasks. Do not give your Aadhaar details / personal information to unapproved platforms or individuals.

2. Be cautious when revealing your Aadhaar number, OTP (One-Time Password), and other personal information.
